Excellent!
August 3rd. More details next week!
Yes we would love to play Dublin! Do we have any other fans there??
If you are in Philly or NYC you have some chances to see us very soon.
Huge portions though. Be careful!
Yep! We have a live drummer and he is kick ass.
Work Drugs: good band to listen to in the summer. They’re like a mix between Passion Pit/Washed Out/Bombay Bicycle Club/MGMT
They’re sosososo good

Work Drugs - License To Drive
where might that be??
i just realized work drugs remind me a lot of starfucker. so, if you like starfucker, you would like work drugs. i’m going on a binge now.
and hey, work drugs! if you read this, starfucker is playing near me in october, you should totally play with them, because well, it’d make my life, and also, because it’d be a super great show, and there’d be lots of super dedicated fans there. *ahem* *points to self*
anyways, i’m just gonna leave this here…..
I’m gonna put it out there straight, I have no idea what ChillWave means- but I know I like it. When I chatted to Work Drugs they weren’t quite sure either.
Whatever it is, they’re doing it right.
The Philly duo, Benjamin Louisiana and Thomas Crystal, came together over a love of one of the best genres out there, Yacht Rock, and out of that love came- Work Drugs. Their debut Aurora Lies was the perfect summer companion for chilling out on your yacht (don’t worry if you don’t have one, its goes really well without too) and their upcoming sophomore effort Absolute Bearing looks like its going to continue the trend if “Boogie Lights” and “License To Drive” is anything to go by.
I chatted to Tom about beginnings, yacht rock, influences, that Adele cover and so much more.
